Is baldness unattractive?

I think I scrub up pretty well from the front, Im not an adonis, but I have a fairly atttractive face, but Im certain that if a girl likes me from the front, then as soon as she sees me from behind she gets turned off. This is because at 26 I have a big bald patch on my crown. I have been taking regaine for over a year, it might help a little but doesnt work miracles.
I hate it when the hairdresser pulls out the mirror and shows me the back of my head. I cringe. I hate it when the CCTV inside the bus switches to back view and I see my bald patch. It must be real off-putting to girls. My question is, how many girls here can honestly claim that baldness is not a turn-off?

Mr Aprilis is about 80% bald. He deals with it the way many other posts suggest....he sets his clippers for a no.1 and shaves it all off. He looks a proper tw@t when it grows out (think Coco the clown) and he knows it. So he doesn't let it grow out and instead sports the 'Mitchell brothers' look. Several of my friends' husbands do the same.

No matter how small you might think your head is, when you have a large bald spot it always looks infinitely better if your hair is kept very short. Try it. You'll soon get used to it. If you really can't stand it then it won't take long to grow back again.

A bald man is not necessarily an unattractive man at all. But I doubt the same can be said of a man who favours the Max Wall look!

its not 100% clear cut what you should do. What about Prince Charles? He has a bald spot but thick hair at the front. Should he be sporting a skinhead?

Aprilis and I think the same, Mr ES shaves his head with a No.1 and clippers, spends ages in the bathroom and always has done since I have known him. I think it makes him look dead sexy. No. 1 son does the same thing and he doesn't have trouble pulling the girls. I think he's georgeous but then I would wouldn't I.?
