Sometimes people we don't agree with get elected. You seem to only want people with the same views as you. Presumably you agree with dictatorships as long as they are in agreement with yourself. As a recent joiner I must admit to finding the hard left stance on this site a bit of a worry.

I don't think there is a hard left stance tora, I just think in this instance sp1814 heard something that Sarah Palin was so likely to to say he assumed ehs truly had, and as Jno said many people actually DID say it. Sarah Palin is an incredibly stupid and dangerous woman, she's naturally stupid ( no crime) but desires power and has no interest in educating herself further, in my book that makes her incredibly dangerous whatever your politics because she would not be bright enough to wield the power she was given.

Tora you will find Gromit has a thing about R1Geezer. R1 being a right wing person had to be silenced on this predominantly left wing site.

Whilst I think it is quite possible some of the id's were R1 ie D9 (being hex) I am not sure all of the ones Gromit quotes are. This is quite unfortunate for people such as yourself who get tarred with the R1 brush as Gromit will keep mentioning it until the Ed bans you thinking you are R1.

The left will always try and silence those who dont agree with them and this site is no exception. As you will find unless Gromit manages to get you banned.

The Palin spoof works so well because it copies her style of blustering response when her factual misstatements are corrected or challenged. Even Republicans regard her as a liability now,after her ignorance and inability to change became exposed on her first becoming prominent. To belief this spoof credible is hardly a left wing thing.

You will also find on this site that those who lean to the right cannot stand anyone putting forward a reasoned argument. What they call 'being silenced' actually translates into 'being argued against'.

With regards to Palin, it's not a that she's right wing that bothers me...it's that she's an idiot. We've already had our fill of stupid Presidents (Bush Jnr)...we don't need another.

Incidentally, politically I am a Labour supporter, but I feel more aligned in some ways to Cameron than I do to Milliband.

so why was GWB a "stupid president"? What did he do or not do that wasn't from the "correct" playbook? By calling an elected president stupid, you are calling an entire nation stupid for electing him, perhaps he had qualities that apealled to the American Voter at the time. Was Clinton any less "stupid"?
