Why is a high Specific Heat capacity important when deciding on a material to be used in a fighter jet????

theres a lot of friction when you are flying at high speeds in a fighter jet (between the particles in the air and the fighter jet) and so the jet heats up. the person flying doesnt want to be flying something that is melting away, and so im sure they would prefer to fly a fighter jet with heat resistant metal :D
