Well our PM has spoken and told us all to "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON".

He also said that "the terror attack will not divide us but bring us together and make us stronger",

Do you think this utopian dream of 'togetherness' will really work, because we were not very together before?

I think you have hit on something there, I suspect that is all part of the trouble, the fact that the various services, police, security, and social, seem to hold back in case they upset the communities, which apparently happened over the Asian child grooming cases.

It is time they were issued with 'stronger boots' which can withstand the treading on 'broken glass' and enforce more of the laws available under the anti-terrorism laws, and if there are not any adequate enough, introduce some that are.

A few years ago, some vietnamese boat people arrived off the coast of Australia. The then P.M. told them to p**s off. When they peristed, he sent out a gunboat and threatened to blow them out of the water. Despite the human rights, 'lefty' brigade, 'do gooders' etc, protsting like mad, Australia's P.M. stood firm. The people diverted to New Zealand. The bit about "they then went to New Zealand" suggests a small problem with the approach -- stopping people from entering your country doesn't solve the problem, and just pases it on to another country instead...
