Morning Seekeerz how are you? Did you have any trouble posting? There's a numpty about -> if youlook to the right.
Cupid was just asking if you'd been able to post
No, it's probably some sort of automated thingy (I really talk "technical" don't I?)
I've usually logged off by this time but I've been waiting for my other half to arrive home from work, as all flights in the country have been hit by delays today and everything was running late. But he's home now and I'll have to think about closing down now. By the way I do love your koala avatar, though my favourite Aussie animal has to be a wombat, I just love them, heaven knows why.
My daughter has a pen friend in Australia, and she sent me a really small cuddly toy of a wombat, he sits on the sofa with me every day - I call him Willie Wombat, after a character on a kids show I used to watch when I was a kid - there were two koalas called Tingha and Tucker, and Willie the Wombat and "Auntie Jean" as the human, the rest were puppets! That must be about 40 years ago or more - sheesh I must be getting old! Well the hot chocolate has just been delivered by my other half so I shall say good night. Good luck with the quiz
when my brother in law was off sick years ago, he watched loads of daytime telly including:-Country practice. He liked it for the wombat and when he finally went back to work my sister in law had to record it for him.
My mum was a fiend for those Aussie soaps too, I called A Counrty Practice "Vets and Doctors" the wombat's name was Fatso - sorry I have a brain that retains trivia. I love wombats, oh and there are other wee marsupials I think they're called Clockers or something like that they are sweet too - I saw them on Billy Conolly's programme on Australia
I'll have to check for that one, nungate - I think they were on Rottnest Island on the Billy Connolly programme, but their name escapes me at the moment
we have quite a few 'little cuddlies' but the one they're making a fuss about 'the bilby' is a horrid little thing we could well do without - oh well, no accounting for taste
I knew they were something like that, I got the sound of them right at least.
The programme with Billy Connolly was called Billy Connolly's World Tour of Australia it was really enjoyable, funny and informative. You do have lot wildlife that isn't so cuddly though
