My point was that you have set a new question that isn't a question. If you want to boo at people why didn't you keep it as a reply within your original question. It really isn't that complicated, honestly.

By looking at your previous post, only 1 person actually criticized you manner of writing the post. Considering this site has so many users, only 1 person making reference to the way it is written is only small, and hardly deserves a whole new non-question related post to show your displeasure - it would have made more sense to keep it in your original post. I personally, probably along with many other people, find it hard to decypher the language you write in, just as i would find german hard to understand, or french if it was written down. As far as i know, there are no Site Rules saying you have to post in english, but surely if you want answers to your questions it would make sense to write them in the language that everybody understands? Otherwise you are severely limiting the amount of replies you get to just the people who can understand your language, or who can be bothered to spend the extra time it takes understanding what you mean - surely writing your questions in english is more courteous, and would stop you getting replies like the one you objected to?

In elerrina's defence, there were actually three answers which criticised the style of question, although two were indirect. Although I personally wouldn't use it, text language is not that difficult to understand. I think the point about not responding in future is fair comment. I don't think the personal jibes are really called for, although the new post is unnecessary, I agree.

I don't think anyone minds the odd typo - we all make them. If you want to put on an affectation such as "txt/msn speke" then you should expect to suffer some criticism, just as someone who decided to wear (say) MC Hammer style pantaloons whilst shopping for groceries should expect people to stare.

I'm sorry if I offended you, elerrina. I was just trying to make the point, fairly harmlessly I thought, that reading your post was made unnecessarily difficult by the obscure style of writing you chose to use.

As other people have said (above), it would surely be more sensible and courteous to write in an easily understood way, rather than using txt or msn, which are a form of shorthand, and like all shorthand, best understood by those who are familiar with it. If I was a doctor and I wanted to reply to a medical question, I'd be careful not to use medical jargon - because I wouldn't want to alienate or confuse anyone who wasn't medically trained.

Anyway, I'm sorry if I upset you - that really wasn't my intention.

I can understand the need for text-talk on the stunted keyboard of a mobile phone but to use it when typing on a full-sized PC keyboard is just b****y lazy and deserves all the criticism it gets.Your last posting actually had only 3 letters missing but still read as though it had been typed by ET so what did it achieve.
