i dont want a laptop - they are too cumbersome. I want somthing that I can type into word documents with on the move anyone got any ideas. ty

I use a XDA Exec aka SPVM5000 aka something else by T Mobile.

It is essentially a pda / phone but has wifi as well. I can surf the net (free with wifi), type in word docs and use excel spreadsheets. I have also set up TomTom on it so have sat nav. Also when bored it doubles as a mp3 player and video player.

Thanks for quick respose but I'm after something more like a laptop wth keyboard my fingers can negotiate and not too complex on the gadget front. sort of a small basic portable mini word word processor I suppose.Its not that I'm a technophobe just I want something simple for the job :-)

You can still get hold of the Psion 5 Mx which is small, has a good keyboard and documents written on it can be synched back to your PC in Word format (they're not Word format on the Psion). Try eBay or www.clove.co.uk clove
