Notts falcons had their 1st flight yesterday, all seems well:-)
Only 1 chick left @ Norwich, might be bad news as the flight feathers on those birds weren't that developed...hope I'm wrong

It was lovely watching the Notts. chicks yesterday, running up and down and stretching their wings. I haven't been following the Norwich ones. I already have enough tabs open!

The sheffield group won't be long

Went to see the Sheff ones on Fri. Watching the adults hunting is spectacular1 I've come to the decision that pigeons are the dimmest birds in all the world. The falcons have been there for over 2mths & still they fly round the church tower.

They'll be there for at least another month. The views should be excellent as the parents teach the young one to fly & hunt.
