If A Black Person Has A Go At Me, How Shall I React So I Don't Appear Racialist?

The reason I asked this was my Aunt lives in a care home and I criticised the care team because they got her up late at 10.20am, not for the first time. The black supervisor had a right go at me and I responded. This is typical of their nature. So am I racist because I reacted in kind? I try to be fair to all but it doesn't always work.

Rule one when a person has a right go at you in those circs, is to maintain the moral high ground and NOT respond!

A lot of the staff here said I should have put in a complaint and though the carer in question said she was a supervisor, she isn't,. My Aunt is okay and well looked after by careers of all colours but there is this white carer who instead of showering my Aunt when she gets up,keeps going out for a fag. What shall I do about it? As we now got to the funny food bit perhaps time to say goodbye, sung by Diana Ross.....Now where did I put that 78 vinyl?
