I wonder why this is happening...I put my thermostat on for the central heating which is located in my lounge and just recently when it clicks & turns off it interferes with my tv. It appears to be only when I have my digi box on. It makes the screen on the tv break up or sometimes the programme just goes off but then it comes back on straight away. Is this something to worry about?? Could it be there is something wrong with the thermostat? any answers would be gratefully received. thanks.
thank you Kempie for your replies & I will follow the link you have given me later. The name on the thermostat is 'Honeywell' so does that mean anything more to you? Grateful for your replies.
digital tv is prone to this, nothing to worry about unless it kills the picture for more than about a tenth of a second.mine does it as well. sometimes moving the co-ax ( ariel wire )as far away from the thermostat and boiler wiring can improve it slightly.
