Does anyone else have the same problem with the AB site? I always check for spyware using Spynuker after each internet session. If I visit AB there is always spyware to be deleted. I have tested various permutations of only visiting AB to not visiting AB. It seems the one common thread is that visiting AB will put spyware on the computer?

it's probably just detecting the cookies that AB uses.

cookies are (for the most part) harmless. but spyware removers still pick them up. don't worry about it.

If you're really worried, try running Microsoft Antispyware Beta. (Win 2000 and upwards only).

Once installed it will run in the background and actively stop most spyware getting on your pc in the first place.

My apologies, that link does not seem to work. Try this one instead.

When you get there, scroll down until you see popular downloads. You should see the link to Antispyware from there.

Install the latest version of the Firefox browser. It's much more secure against spyware than IE, which I assume your using.

My installed versions of Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D and Spywareblaster consistently come back negative for spyware since I started using Firefox over a year ago and it will also keep you safe on other websites.

IE has got more holes in it than a sieve and I'll never return to it.
