Heartbreaking
There has been discussion going on over the last few days concerning how cruel humans can.
I have just read this and find myself crying at the though of what this child had to undergo in his 4 years on this earth.
Really, for some the death penalty would be to good.

I don't have children, I also think that I would be a bad mother, but I still appreciate that they are hard work and they will rule your life for many years to come. Alas anyone can have a child - and this sort of thing can be the result

I've been following this terrible story. the child was stealing food at school, and the teachers knew there was a problem. I hope there are questions to be answered.
on a slightly different note, I don't get why one child is so abused whilst other siblings are not. it's happened in other cases, too.

I'm beginning to think that people who want to have children should be given lessons and be tested psychologically before they are allowed to have them. I see young single women with 3 or 4 kids in tow and with the best will in the world I know that she can't give all of them the attention they need and that they're probably stuck on a play station or plonked in front of the tv.
What chance do these kids have?

It is shocking what people do, the siblings will never get over what they have seen..
How do you know the women are single parents? Not all young mums are single parents. I had my first at 18 , twins at 21 and another set at 23, my husband worked 12 hours a day 7 days a week, my children were never plonked in front of a tv or playstation. We're still together 26 years , please never assume what people do in their lives.

Sorry I should have made it clear the young women are neighbours and a couple of them went to school with my daughter. I really wasn't trying to make an issue about them being single mums but was emphasising the fact that they had to cope on their own. Having brought up 3 kids ourselves I know how demanding it is.
