We have at the moment some students staying with us.. one of which is 14. She was sat on the arm of the sofa watching the computer and when she got up she had left a blood stain on the sofa without realising. When I saw it, I cleaned it up, but it did leave the sofa slightly wet. I didnt say anything, but as she went to sit again she saw the patch and I could tell she knew what had happened. I feel like I should say something along the lines of its ok and not to worry about it.. but I dont want to embarrass her more.. she has only been with us since yesterday so we dont know each other, I just want to put her at ease.. or should I just leave it...
Help as in.. It's ok and can happen to anyone... If you need any paracetamol it's in this drawer, if you want the washing machine, or your bed changed you are welcome to and I can get you clean sheets.... she is young and away from home..
whatwhat, i think a private chat...along the lines of "oh I forgot to say...." would be a kind and sensible thought. Are they British? Is she also likely to have a problem shopping for the right things?
