good morning all been a warm night tonight godsend got a ceiling fan in our bedroom done the trick nicely!
gonna be another hot week by the looks of it only got 3 days to do thurs is my birthday and mrs cuddles is taking me down to Hastings for a couple of days looking forward to that!

ooh I'm jealous We love boats any chance even the little tourist trips We did one from Beaumaris to puffin island it got a bit rough I loved it and Red said he loved the look on my face

I've been like it since a very small child My sister wanted the funfair I wanted the boat trips MY mum hates boats so she must have loved me after all to put up with them. My dad was in the navy but never went to sea (fleet air arm) and its always been Redmans great love. Funny thing though I have never fancied a cruise too much like land I suspect

Should see my bro-in-law; he would live full time on water if he could.

They left for the Scillies ten days ago for a long weekend in an ex-coastguard cutter they have bought, one cabin and shower, a reasonable galley and eats area, a huge open deck towards the stern.

They are still there.....friends who went with them in their boat came back to the mainland and have gone out to join them again.....what they are doing re clothing and stocks, who knows, but I suspect the little (and very expensive) supermarket on Tresco has been emptied by them.

I need to be moving I think.....not sure whether I am over at my client later but a lot can be done by phone or e-mail, so hopefully not.

Rowan I was in the army, but still spent a fair bit of time on the water. River patrols in Malaya, sailing and powerboating on the Malacca strait, sailing on the Mohnesee in Germany and on the Baltic. I even found time to do some soldering! :o}

You're mum really loved you, indeed she did. :o}

morning all, tried to say hello around 6.30am but "them gremlins" set upon me so I gave up, another lovely sunny day cheers you up no end. Did a boot sale yesters , lovely standing in a field in the sunshine and taking money too.It will take many more to get the accumulated junk in our house under control. Rowan I hope Red is a little better today. minty how is dad ? hope everyone had a good weekend, and enjoy today folks whatever you are doing.
