Daewoo Tacuma Front Lightbulb

How do I get the old lightbulb from my front "sidelight" out? I've removed the cover and can get my fingers on the offending lightbulb plug. but I can't get it out. Should I be twisting it, pulling, or losing my head and smashing it?

if you've got a new bulb then it should give you a clue. if it has bayont fittings like a household bulb then it removes like a house bulb, if it has a flat cirular lip with locating tags sticking out then there will be a clip holding it in. also try a bit of wd40 on it as corrosion glues the bulb to the holder slightly in some circumstances. hope this helps.
