I`ve grown some herbs this year. I was going to pick off some of the leaves and freeze them (mint and flat leaf parsley). I have noticed little white (ish) spots on them. I`m presuming it`s some sort of disease. The parsley is the other end of the garden from the parsley which is a bit strange. Would the herbs be ruined? Would they still be edible?

My immediate guess (from experience) would be spidermites, SJ... Easily overcome and should probably wash off the leaves you've picked. See if this Forum (which has pictures) might be of help. It also has a good, simple homemade spray remedy for the little critters...

Blue skies!

Of course, I meant the parsley is the other end of the garden from the mint. It`s also coming on the basil. Thanks for the reply Clanad. Washing it and seeing what happens
