2D: 30 minutes in house or old city? (4-4) ?A?F?O?R
HALF-HOUR? I can see H or HO for house, and UR for old city, but not sure of rest...
3D: Some Antipodeans in their topless swimwear (6) ?S?I?S
20d: Straight piece of metal that's progressively twisted? (6) S?E?E?
SKEWER? Can't really see why apart from the surface meaning...

20 half hour
3d ossies (cossies)
20d yes skewer, nothing cryptic in it for me - it's a twisted piece of metal
I can't parse Half Hour further than you, either :-(
PS Astro, next time make sure you post in crosswords... this is in Ed's Blog!

Thanks mallyh and boxtops. I've only started using The AnswerBank, and came straight into a crossword question from an internet search. This didn't show the "enter your question here" box, which I found while looking in the Ed's blog. Now know you have to click on a topic first.

Should I re-post in the Quizzes and Puzzeles section, or get this deleted and then repost? I'd still like to get the parsing for 2D and 20D.

Thanks again
both ho and ur are half of hour
Welcome to AB. The correct section would be Crosswords rather than Q&P but there's no need to repost it now you have an answer. You can always click 'report' and ask Ed to move it to Crosswords.
you have the parsing for 2d ho+ur 30 mins half hour and i think 20d is just a straight forward question
ps welcome x
