Does anyone else that think that this BNP-lite twit looks like Victor Meldrew ?
Just heard him being interviewed by Naughty on the Today program. There is a phrase that goes something like " when you are in a hole, stop digging" but he seems unaware of what he saying !

A period of silence from this BNP-lite twit would now be welcome.
Isn't there a saying that goes something like ::: "better remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt "

Well, I am off to the land of nod now, is that o.k.? or will the stupid pc brigade be waking me up? sorry, but you can call me any name you like,
but I do appreciate that if i were not white british born i may have a problem if someone referred to me as something I didn't like, but, for gods sake, there are children being abused, old people being abused, people being murdered, homeless, drug problems, sick beyond help, and you are concerned over words??? once again its the media stirring up. I was born in scotland, call me jock and I will raise hell. My message is: GET A LIFE.

I kinda feel that this thread is just people expressing differences of opinion (well, all of us apart fromAB's resident troll).
One thing that seems a little odd though...was that your first post on this thread?
If so...ummm...who are you talking to and where's all the anger coming from?
You'll notice on the News section that we discuss a wide range of topics, which include racism, murder, the NHS, terrorism etc etc.
This is just one thread amongst many.
Oh, and to end with 'GET A LIFE'...
...really?

Excuse the copy and paste but found my reply should have been here instead. I saw nothing wrong with a single word, and if people are offended I suggest they find somewhere they can really hear offensive talk like Iran and then learn the difference.

It has possibly done us all a favour. Firstly the media missed the message and focussed on the presentation, but the message still stands. Secondly they have mentioned it so much today it has actually done exactly the opposite to what the liberal media wanted, to reaffirm the problem we have with wasted and squandered foreign aid little of which reaches the intended targets or is given to countries with no need of it. Thirdly it may bring a few people on board who weren't quite sure about PC and are now certain it's nonsense. All those can only help in the long run.

"Baz...I find your posts childish, ill-thought out and offensive. I shall not be replying again in the future ( unless you are especially racist of course ) "
ask yourself this...do you really think i give monkeys ?
but youll still read what i post and foam at the mouth and be spitting feathers reply or not
your trouble is you seem to think everybody has to agree with your pathetic view of things and theyre not entitled to their own opinions

seems a shame you casting aspersions and leaving us all guessing

I've copied and pasted my post from the other thread.
//I listened to him being interviewed tonight on Channel 4 News, and basically he said he was referring to corrupt governments in third world countries. Sounds fair enough to me. //
And Mikey - do us all a favour and stop referring to BNP-Lite. You might think it's smart - but it really isn't. Best take your own advice.

which is what i say way back, that he is a UKIP member, not clever to keep on and on referring to him as potentially BNP material. And the message has come over loud and clear, that many people do believe that aid money is and has been wasted, on despots and tyrants, whilst the people it's supposed to help have suffered
jno, i said i liked Alan Clark, he wasn't run of the mill, i also said right from the start his treatment of his wife, who stood by him, was appalling.

David H , you are right. It is an important matter, often raised by UKIP. Whether this man chose Bongo Bongo land deliberately, to secure publicity, is open to debate. It makes him sound completely out of touch with modern times and language, just as if he'd said "old fruit", "dear boy" or "top hole" to someone, would have. He comes across as like an Empire loyalist and someone who thinks other races are inferior, not merely of countries whose leaders are spongeing off us.
Yes isn't it amazing that the left thinkers on this site are always going on about certain words offending certain groups of persons, but feel free themselves to offend those who disagree with them when they feel like it, ie Prince Philip is known 'LOONY' others are 'KNUCKLE DRAGGERS', 'IDIOTS, etc, etc.
These racists due to the way they talk about other races behind closed doors to each other always slip up one day.
A normal person without any hidden hatred views could've simply said "Charity starts at home" and would've got applause from many races, but to then add a racially provoking put down smacks of thick buffoonery or some may say calculated shock tactics on the brink of offense.

just got back, is someone saying ummm and me are the same person??? i think not, two names I do not have. sorry to be late on this, but i have a life,my mother was 92 today,so party time, and the ukip bloke came round as well,( totally true) (he took our ward by 15 votes), I am not from these parts, and He called me a townie. His claim to fame was that He was in Brussels a few weeks ago and nigel farage drank him under the table. Well, He's got my vote.
anyone who thinks Prince Philip is a loony better have a look at his education, military service, background, and indeed the many charitable works he is involved in, not to mention his unwavering support for his wife the Queen over all these years. He may say what we might consider odd things, but he comes across as erudite, charming and a very intelligent human being.
In virtually everything i have read, he comes across as a highly intelligent individual. And was largely responsible for modernising the Royal family.
