Is getting more stupid everytime its on!
I've missed lots of episodes as I didnt like the storyline with Debbie Dingle but now i think the storyline with Laurel is even worse and also the drugs/vet and her "friend" - who thinks of these stories!!

I totally agree, I don't even care now if I miss an episode (recently I have) and I have been watching Emmerdale for many years. Ridiculous storylines ........... completely spoilt the soap now.

"Writers" simply script what the "storyliners" have come up with..
It seems that they want to out-do the other soaps in far-fetched storylines.

I've watched Emmerdale since it started as Emmerdale Farm but the storylines now drag on ad nauseam-doom and gloom. I usually tape it and watch it later with sub-titles as I find it difficult to make out what some of the cast, esp Cameron and Chas are saying.This way I can fast forward some of it.
So why do I still watch it?

My Wife had this on tonight.Doesn't that prat who plays Marlon overact.Caught sight earlier this week of a rerun of Waterloo Road and who was playing the Headmaster? yes that's right the actor who plays Declan and he was just as boring in that.

Hi,Old...Geezer,I admit to being a chocaholic and a quizaholic so now must add soapaholic lol Actually I have cut down on the number of soaps I watch-just Corrie and Emmerdale now and it doesn't really bother me very much if I miss an episode.
I agree with murraymints-wish they had left instead of Gennie.Anyway it's just a soap as my OH keeps reminding me.
