The fox looks like it was hit by a car, it wasn't in a good state. It is at the vets now and we will know this evening its condition. There was blood coming from its anus and the use of its back legs looked debatable. If it's a broken hip it could recover if caged for a few months. Poor fox is only a youngster - so cute :)

My mum, sister in law and me (by the looks of it now) run the South Yorkshire Fox Rescue. We went on our first call last night and picked up said fox. They look so cute, but they are not typically domesticated and can be a right nightmare to handle. Hence the chainmail gloves, protective trousers and steel toe capped/mid-undersoled boots.
