Strawberry Plant

I bought a strawberry plant from a school fair,it is flowering but the blooms are red and now is producing yellow one too,what sort of plant is it,I`m beginning to think it isn`t a strawberry plant after all.

It might be an ornamental strawberry - do the flowers look like strawberry flowers?

Some varieties have red flowers.

I sounds like you have an 'alpine strawberry' they have red flowers and are good to eat.
