Cornish Pasties

I had a Cornish pasty last night but ended up spitting a lot of the out as it was full of fatty gristle. Can anyone recommend a shop bought Cornish pasty which has decent cuts of meat in it please :o)
The one I had was Ginsters :O(

Bedfordshire does something akin to an old pasty, half meat and half fruit inside a pastry oblong. Dorset ones are an abortion as they use mince (ye-uck). As OG says, use quality chuck, potato, swede, onions and seasoning and learn to crimp the pastry, then you are away.
For example - how can this mess be a Cornish Pasty? It's crimped wrong, has mince in it, as well as peas and carrots. Yeah Gads. I'm surprised that they haven't been done yet for the misnomer. http:// www.gre ggs.co. uk/menu /savour y/pasti es-and- bakes/c ornish- pasty/

They aren't the cheapest but they are quality, if you use the shop locator you might find one near you,as for ginsters and gregs I'd rather go hungry

I`m from Devon too and I wouldn`t rate any of the shop bought pasties TBH. My mum tried one of the West Cornwall Pasty company ones in Kingston and threw it in the bin. The best pasties I have ever had are from Blackwells in Bideford. I see they now have a website (Devon always catches up with the rest of the world eventually)! and they do postal deliveries.
