Which state of the USA has been accorded the epithet "mother of presidents" because seven presidents of the USA have been born in the state?

I think the confusion can come from a rather pedantic fact... John Tyler, the 10th President assumed office from his position as Vice-President on the death of William H. Harrison... the first time this occurred in U.S. history. In fact he was dubbed "His Accidency" by his detractors, John Tyler was the first Vice President to be elevated to the office of President by the death of his predecessor. He was not re-elected after filling this partial term...
