Himself is going back to work tomorrow so I will be in the house on my own for the first time in two months - should I do some of the (many) jobs I have to do or go for a Big Bang Theory/Jeremy Kyle fest?

BB defo, only a couple of episodes of season 6 to go then season 7 is out 26th of this month
Personally, I would get on with the housework... but... it sounds like you could do with a bit of a break.

Get the kids to school, Toast, feet up, Jezza Kyle, Homes Under The Hammer :-) x
big bang theory for sure :)

I am miles back with BBT, only started watching it when he was in hospital, I have loads of episodes to watch. I had forgotten about homes Under the Hammer. One day off won't harm (house will look a tip again within minutes of the kids getting back from school).
Put your feet up and enjoy the rest, you deserve it after all you have been through lately.
Treat yourself to a day of rest Sherr , you deserve a break ! xx
Homes under the hammer is one of my favourite programmes. Only get to watch it about twice a week but I love it and whoever picks the music is brilliant.
Go out, treat yourself to a nice lunch and maybe a glass of wine. The dust will still be there tomorrow.

To be fair, I hardly knock myself out every day - I like to pace myself! (Everything gets done, I am very efficient but I have a high dust-ignorance level.)
giveup, hahaha! Totally agree. The cheesy 80's music, and Martin looking like he's lost the plot, make the series! :-)
Watching TV sounds like a good idea to me but I'd do it in the King's Fee!

Take a duvet day, you know you want to!
Leave the TV off, put the radio on loud and get stuck into those jobs.

You'll feel proud of yourself at the end of the day.

( OK, put on Homes under the Hammer but don't allow yourself to sit down)

A duvet day would be lovely, feel tired all the time but not sleeping well. Probably need to do more physical activity so it's not just my head that's tired. Maybe I will compromise and do one of the less daunting rooms (ie - one without any toys in it (which doesn't really leave many options)) and then slob about a bit.
Catch up with the housework, definately.
I think you should get yourself on Pinterest and have another bash at the chocolate balloons ;)
