Just upgraded to one (LOVE it) but not sure what app I downloaded for smiley faces when texting etc.

Only need to find out as a friend wants to download it too.

Is there a way of seeing what you have downloaded - looked in settings but cant seem to find it.

Go to settings, general, usage, this should bring up a list of all apps on the phone (I'm on a 4s so don't know if it's slightly different)

Does it not say on the icon on the hone screen, like Emoji?

You don't need an app. Go to settings, then general, keyboards, add new keyboard, then chose emoji.

Then when your keyboard comes up you'll see what looks like a globe on the left of the space bar. Press that and you can select smilies galore.

Check the globe and the keyboard. Try Siri (microphone on keyboard) to type your answers Here
