Shopping On Line

have you been stuck for the right words, say for example when looking for an item on line, you type in to Amazon, google, shopping trolley, then find that isn't what you meant, i have tried to think of another name for vegetable rack that i saw in a shop recently, to look up the price, but no matter how many variations i thought of it's not it. Same with many items, books are different, like cd's, because generally you can find it by author, musician.
Type the word Bin into Amazon search and you would be amazed by the amount of types of bins there are, so an inordinate of time and effort is spent to not get the info or what you actually want, very frustrating...

i can't believe search engines don't accept thing-a-me doo dahs as a reasonable description. I know what I mean!

i know what you mean and i agree, it's maddening, i type in veg rack and get anything but, a thingamabob or whatyoucall it, should suffice..
but veg rack didn't work either. There are too many variations on names of items on line for my liking, i was looking for a picnic case i saw in a shop, and it just wasn't there, because the shop, search didn't call it that, picnic bag, picnic box, picnic hamper, picnic nothing, nada..

Or, if a site's internal search doesn't work so well you can use
site:[URL] [Keywords]
So, for example...
site:theanswerbank.co.uk veg rack
https:/ /www.go ogle.co .uk/sea rch?q=s ite%3At heanswe rbank.c o.uk+ve g+rack& amp;oq= site%3A theansw erbank. co.uk+v eg+rack &aq s=chrom e..69i5 7j69i58 .6362j0 &so urceid= chrome& amp;ie= UTF-8
Shows you all the pages from that site using that term that Google has indexed.
