I have Windows XP on my computer and my screen has just gone much darker so I wondered if anyone out there knows how I can change it to become lighter again. I do not recall catching a button by mistake.

I don't know if your computer has buttons like my laptop, but I have 2 buttons at the bottom right of my keypad. One has a symbol of a sun which is shaded and the other a sun that is not shaded. By using these buttons and the Fn button, the screen can be either lightened ar darkened.
