All those Muslim ladies and not a Niqab in sight, but notice their non tolerance towards the other Miss World contest.
/// Meanwhile in Bali, the mainstream pageant was subject to protests by hard-line Muslims within the world's most populous Muslim country, even though organisers relented and agreed to cancel the bikini round. ///
/// Moreover, its final - held on 28 September - was due to take place in Jakarta, but it has now been agreed that the whole pageant will take place in Bali, a Hindu-majority island, where armed police are on high alert following warnings that the contest could be a target for terror attacks. ///
/// The British Embassy said that 'local Islamist vigilante groups have threatened to hold large-scale demonstrations to disrupt the Miss World pageant', adding 'extremist groups may also be planning to attack the
event'. ///

usually because they include a combination of misinformation, false presuppositions or random elements seemingly arranged to tenuously support an existing agenda
Hardly surprising that such OPs are regularly 'shot down'
If aog or others believe that his posts fit this category more often than others that's up to them - though playing the martyr or whimpering is not an attractive characteristic
But these OPs do stimulate lively exchanges which is valuable, entertaining and a great attribute of AB

/// Excuse me but your critisism of me and my intelligence was absolutley uncalled for and incorrect. ///
Neither uncalled for or incorrect, if you do not wish to be treated in such a manner, please don't be so aggressive in the first instance.
Your impolite and demanding one word:
/// And? ///
was uncalled for, as there are more polite ways of asking a person to explain if you cannot work things out for your self, otherwise just ignore the post altogether.
Incidentally I don't usually correct a person's spelling as we can all make mistakes, but in your case, critisism is spelt criticism, and absolutley is spelt absolutely.

/// All that's lacking is AOG saying 'rose tinted glasses'. I was hoping for that. ///
Either yours are over tinted or you are not only wearing blinkers as well, but also having difficulty engaging your brain, if you wasn't you would not have failed to notice this earlier,
/// What do you want to debate? ///
/// Take your rose tinted glasses off, also your blinkers, engage your brain then I am sure you will come across something to debate on this subject. ///

/// Please explain where in your original question you make any sense. ///
/// Seriously - reread it. ///
/// It doesn't make any sense at all: ///
/// "All those Muslim ladies and not a Niqab in sight, but notice their non tolerance towards the other Miss World contest." ///
/// Why is that? ///
I just don't know because all the information is there, maybe it is you who is also a little slow on the uptake.
Let us try and take this matter one step at a time for you.
First it was not a question, only a thread constructed to create debate.
"All those Muslim ladies and not a Niqab in sight"
Typing slow:
Refer to the photos, not one Muslim lady is wearing a Niqab, this is in response to earlier posts on some Muslim women in Britain insisting that the wearing of the Niqab is all part of their faith.
"but notice their non tolerance towards the other Miss World contest."
Perhaps it could have been worded a little differently, but I think most would have got the gist.
Still typing slow:
Once again this was in response to the fact that we in this country are expected to show tolerance towards Muslims, when they show little if any towards us, as pointed out in those three excerpts from the report.
But then you knew all this all along without me explaining it all to you, it is just you who hates to see Muslims being criticised.

/// I may have missed the previous pages of insults and derogatory comments, but what on earth was the question? ///
Once again it is not obligatory to ask a question, many do not, but most do not get challenged over the matter.
This was just a report that I thought fitted in with various previous topical debates that have taken place.

It's my opinion, rightly or wrongly, that all religionists will quote and follow their selected parts of their book, to prove that they are each correct.
I seem to recall a nasty attack in Nigeria a few decades ago about having a Miss Muslim World Contest, I'll have to go and delve for that info, as I think it happened prior to internet arriving.
