If denied reasonable access to a toilet when in need I would inform the Cabin Crew of my intentions and ask them if there was somewhere on the plane they would prefer me to use it.
Otherwise I would seek privacy in the Galley and expect them to vacate for a few minutes

acceptance of am-ex cards will probably not of itself increase ryanair's 20% business user figure. ryanair, whilst cheap, are not always what might be described as convenient - frankfurt is a principal european business centre, but ryanair drop you off 75 miles away in hahn. calling beauvais "paris" is little better. plus ryanair fly to neither destination from BHX or EMA. the midlands executive could always build an intinerary of connecting flights, but ryanair are strictly point-to-point, meaning if plane 1 is late, well that's your hard luck, pay up for a new ticket on plane 2.
// The people that hate Ryan are are generally those too stupid to avoid the charges, pretty well all of which are avoidable //
This why I don't have the contempt for them that some people do. Surely all they're doing is deconstructing the cost of the ticket into it's component parts and then giving the consumer the choice of which bits they actually want on top of the bare minimum of a place on the plane.
For example, on BA, the price of going to the toilet is built into the cost of everyone's ticket, so they all pay for using the toilet whether they actually use it or not - same applies to all their other add-ons.
With Ryanair, you can get a very cheap flight if you want to play the game of 'what charges can I avoid' with them. Personally I don't, which is why I don't use them, but I can see how it could work for some people.

I think Ryanair are actually ok. Providing you follow their rules, which is fair enough! Do think they shouldn't charge so much for hold baggage though. It's becoming quite a problem on their flights, what with everybody bringing large hand luggage cases to avoid paying £70 for a larger suitcase. I had to put mine under my feet on a recent flight as there was no room left in overhead lockers. My fault for boarding plane last but have learnt my lesson.....get on plane quicker!
