page 31-win a hol- has anyone got the picture puzzles yet? guess the first one is Dollar ?, the second picture i've no idea at all! 3rd pic must be Caravan, 4th Train?, has anyone else got any ideas, any help gratefully recieved.

i think the second picture looks like ice. the first one might be money. or as you say. dollar.not sure about this puzzle yet ,do you know whos that girl? thought it might be tara palma tomkinson

hi and thanks mybutty, yes it's definately tara palmer tomkinson, it's easier to guess from the clue than the pictures! my sister reckons the word is DICE for the win a hol,

D -(dollar) I - (iceberg) C- (caravan) E - (eurostar) so guess i'll go for DICE, good luck to you to.

yes i agree with your answers but the puzzle says to arrange the letters to make a four letter word.which to me means that the word it spells (dice) is not the right word. i think its iced, what do you think?

that's what i don't get! cause nearly every other week half the time the word can't be rearranged! maybe this is where i'm going wrong, I've kept all the answers since the first issue to check the answers BUT have you noticed they haven't printed them yet?

anyway, reckon i'm going to rearrange it this week and keep us fingers crossed. thanks.

Hello allotment10, again I thought about you when I had a look at that puzzle in Real People, I got the word DICE too, but thats not rearranged, agree I wish they would hurry up and print the answers.

hi melbur, looking back on all the answers for this particular puzzle (win a hol) out of them all there are only 2 that could be rearranged, so mybutty could be right with this weeks and i've been wrong with some of the past answers! i've been on the mag site but there doesn't seem to be a page where i could email the editor to ask them to clarify the puzzle answer, i to wish they would hurry up with the past answers and then we'd be able to suss it out! (think i'll have to use the gpo snail mail and write to them).

hi again! mybutty & melbur, have just found the link to email the editor, so have sent a request to ask them to clarify the puzzle, i did explain that sometimes the word can't be rearranged and other times it's spelt 2 words! so, hopefully they'll get back in touch and let me know! by the way,had some good news today, got a letter from chat mag won �250 on one of their puzzles! if you all lived near me we could have a good booze up and moan about some of the headaches we give ourselves doing these puzzles! CHEERS.

"We are very sorry for the confusion over the 'win a hol' puzzle in recent issues of our magazine. We have received several comments about the ambiguitity of the puzzle and are currently addressing the matter. We hope to make future editions of this puzzle less confusing and generally easier to understand. We apologise for this mistake and hope you continue to read and enjoy real people." i bet i'll take a few weeks yet to sort out BUT at least they've acknowledged it. bye 4 now.

Hi allotment10, Great news on getting a reply, although I found what it read a bit confusing, veiled to cover up their mistake! it will be interesting to see what changes they make. Have you read the thread about Nottingham, Robin Hood and the airports, the cheeky writer asked who wants to be associated with Nottingham, as we've said bits of it are really nice

hi melbur, time to TAKE A BREAK 2morrow & have a CHAT about THAT'S LIFE! & REAL PEOPLE, am now buying love it as well, it's certainly a FULL HOUSE in my house! i seem to spend all weekend doing puzzles! the puzzles in love it are quite good, it's a bit like real people don't you think? i suppose if and when we do win we must spend it on posting or texting them in, but i just love reading them all and someone's got to win! Do you do bella & best? (i do those as well!) have won on best twice a long time ago, my hubby calls me billynomates 'cause my head's allways stuck in a mag or the paper's crosswords! when i found this site just couldn't believe how lucky i was, and it's great to get help from everyone on here, it must be the best site on the whole web, it's a proper PICK ME UP! (sorry for the pun!) happy comping x
