i hate my hair!!!

OK so i just got blonde highlights at the salon on my dirty blonde hair yesterday but i hate them because they look all fake and streaky and i wanted more of the natural look but now i want to totally dye my hair a lighter blonde does any one how long i have to wait and if theres anything i could do to dye it sooner or if i could go to the salon and if they could do anything????

Simply go back to the salon and explain that you don't like the highlights as they are, that you wanted a more natural look. A good salon will try and give you the hair you wanted and will correct anything they've done either for free (if it's their error) or a reduced cost. You generally don't have to wait much more than 48 hours between salon colours - they know what chemicals have been used and will let you know if your hair can take a second helping of highlights so soon after.

Telphone the salon first thing Monday morning and tell them exactly what you told us.

Colour tends to look good in the salon because of the artificial light, but you only see the true shade when you look in the mirror in natural light, right? I've had this happen to me on two occasions and the shop has redone highlights either the next day or their first vacancy. It's expensive so get it done to your requirements.

If you go totally blonde you will get roots and it will look more fake than before.Get them to put some lowlights back in and go for woven highlights in future and not slices.Good luck
