The problem with LD's is that they only record a person who is knowingly telling a lie.

If you find a flat-earther who is asked if the earth is flat, they will agree, and pass, because as far as they are concerned, they are telling the truth, and not a lie.

The issue occurs when what someobe believes to be true is not in fact the truth.
