Went to collect an item I'd ordered online from Asda Direct.
"Oh, you paid by paypal - well we'll need photo ID.!
"Sorry don't have any photo ID."
"You must have a driving licence or a passport."
"No, sorry I don't."
"Well, you should have photo ID."
"OK, I'll just get my money back from Paypal and buy somewhere else."
"Well I'll give you it this time, but not the next time."

Would you be more angry if the someone hacked your computer and went to asda and this good natured soul Just gave it to the thief without asking for photo id? I'd hardly call that odd but what is odd is someone in this day an age not having photo id! What happens when you lose your bank card and need money or need to identify yourself to the bank or the police stop you and want to know who you are?
It is in the terms and conditions, why only Paypal I am not sure...
