Cat trouble
8 Answers
I am in the process of splitting up with my partner and I am moving back to my parents house. I have a 5 year old cat that is very much a house cat and wants to be with you all of the time. My parents also have a cat but she is more of a frees spirit and comes and goes as she pleases. How would be the best way to introduce them and do you think they would tolerate each other?

He said they kept them in travel cages just out of paws reach of other all the time they were unpacking his stuff, reckons they were alone in a room together for at least six hours (still in cages at paws reach!) when they finally let them out.
There was so much new stuff around the cats were far more interested in that than each other!!

Good Luck gilby...glad you already are looking ahead and have a home just in case they don't get along, there shouldn't be that big of a problem since one likes to go out all the time and your likes to stay in, they, IMHO, should get along, don't forget to give yours extra attention so they don't think they will need to share due to the other cat, if you can give yours some tastey treat they love when the other cat is around then they should associate cat with great treat, also with the routine in a turmoil, it will take some time to adjust.
