This does seem slightly dubious I must say. "Local" drivers with good local knowledge are worth advertising in my view, but surely not combined with a national flag (which as has been pointed out is - for some reason - already not allowed in taxis anyway).
If you want to advertise your "localness" would you not be better using a more "local" symbol?
