Bit early but two of the wolfhounds decided to settle their differences about 3 a.m., so I, woken suddenly, went down to the kitchen yard to see to it. This was a short-sighted policy to bring peace because I opened the gate to the garden. They paused, said, as it were, "Thanks Dad!" and promptly resumed the contest outside instead. To add to the fun, they decided that I ought to referee and came as close as possible to me to that end, which didn't exactly calm me; I was not minded to say "Break" or send one to his corner. Anyway, the squabble ended, I declared the younger one the winner on points, and led the victor to the kennel down the garden, locked away from the loser who, of course, followed us, uttering grumbled threats along the lines of "Coward! You never hurt me. Come back here, if you think you're hard enough!" The pup wolfhound was left wondering which was the role model.

That's all I need, insomniac wolfhounds with a grievance!

Have a good day, all.

Bye welshie xx see you next week..love to G and Poppy xxx
well welshie our club did well last night one woman won an extra £500 on the table games, I don't play them as its all extra money to lay out and on the last bingo game it was won in under 45 numbers [ 44 actually] and as well as the £100 prize they won £1,000 jackpot, so some people are really really lucky, but I am happy with my win and I am going to Suffolk next week to stay with a pal and shall treat her out to dinner.
That's the place, minty x
Hey, fab Dee ...

:0)
Morning all - been patrolling the castle this morning already. There was an almighty thump last night around 9.30 but buqqer me to what it was - Jayne throwing her lingerie out of the plane perhaps en route to the sunshine?

I'll have to wait another half hour for 'lights on' to see if what it was and any damage.

Yeuck weather yesterday evening but folk are getting concerned about Sunday evening into Monday with talks about >80 mph breezing through with a couple of inches of the wet stuff on it. That's the end of autumn then as to leaves.....
well done dee......

Trossachs - apart from the medical condition, it's my first ever memory, staying in a hotel there, an ocean of a tartan carpet to jump from square to square on, great fun for someone approaching three. Also remember the steamer on Loch Katrine, at the time the size of 2 QE2s but in reality a bath toy....
Morning DT xx...tartan carpet ?.... yeuch !
Jj....have a nice time...lots of choccie !......
That's just silly, DT.

Why would I be taking underwear in the first place?

:0)
Hussy ! Lol
That's the point, more fun in discarding it en route.........

where's the exit?
morning all, signs of windy & wet & down here this morning (that's outside, not me :-)
Morning boxy xx
morning boxy, watch out for Sunday evening - the local BBC is wetting itself already.
Right..time to scoot....see you all later !...xxx....be good !

janbee @6.29 The wolfhounds are 3 1/2 and 5, the pup wolfhound is 12 months. The younger one is now of an age when he's comfortable challenging the older one and, worse, eager to try to throw his weight around; he's the one who will tell the pup off over some slight to himself, for example, while the older, more secure, one isn't fussed and will happily let the pup share his food

PP, the parties apparently accepted the verdict, but I'm sure the case will drag on, all the way to the European courts. And I'm sure the two are waiting for the chance of a rematch !
