Taps
I have a mixer tap that has those flexible pipes attached to it, they can't be removed because they are captive in the actual body of the tap. They are 8mm, unfortunately the copper pipes that supply the water to the where the sink is going are 15mm is there an adapter that I can buy that will reduce from a 15mm feed pipe to the 8mm mixer tap pipe available anywhere?

Ah......... a common problem. This usually works...........
Take off the 8mm backnut from the fitting. It's not needed.
The tap tail will have a rubber washer built in to it. Connect that directly to the fitting.
If, by some chance, it doesn't fit, come back again and we'll think about some sort of conversion adaptor.
Try it firat anyway :o)
