New Idea For Wallpaper
13 Answers
Just been ploughing all through my newspapers, magazines, catalogues, junk mail and other paperwork to shred, file or throw (horrible job which has taken several hours - I just drown in the stuff!)
I have decided I could make a new use for Cotton Traders magazines - paper the walls of the whole house with it!! I must get 2 or 3 mail order catalogues a month from them besides all the ones which fall out of every weekend newspaper and magazine we get. They must spend a fortune on sending these out! I'm not saying I don't want any as I do occasionally order from them, but surely one every season is quite enough!

I do know someone who used to disappear at work (alot) - he had 5 cats. Every opportunity he got he was cat scanning!! (its funny) on another floor so he could get enough A4 prints to wallpaper his living room with them. No doubt it took him a while!

And don't get me started on the life insurance letters from every company imaginable! Would love to see their faces as they eagerly open the pre-paid envelope anticipating a new customer but all they get is it all back again with "please remove me from mailing list" - never seems to work, but at least it's made them pay postage!!
Also every charity takes us for a mug for donkeys, chimps, seals, dogs, cats, guidedogs, lepers, orphanages, red cross, samaritans, cancer research, mouth and foot artists, Oxfam, and hundreds more ......... some of which ARE worthy causes, but does it rile you when they either "give" you bookmarks, pens, address labels, etc and some even have the cheek to ask for a minmum of £5 donation!

why don't you just ask Cotton Traders to take you off their mailing list, Ann? you can view all their products on their website as and when you want to buy....
I do keep on top of our paper and shredding, because the binmen take it every fortnight - I usually have a dustbin and a large bag full of paper and cardboard.
