Well, you could. But why not do yourself a favour and download Firefox its much better.

yes firefox is good but only until you try Avant... then it sucks

avant is many times worse than firefox (i'm giving impressions that i really like firefox, aren't i?)

there will, and are, problems with IE7. it's called a BETA for a reason. it's under testing.

get firefox. you wont want to switch back.

As IE 7 is just MS's attempt to copy Firefox, why not just get the original as khana says?

Incidentally, Avant is basically just a container for IE. That is to say that it uses the internet explorer engine for both communications and rendering, and just displays it all through a different user interface

rojash, entirely correct. glad i'm not the only one here who realises these things.

stop using IE clones like avant. use firefox.

if you have a mac, and don't like how firefox can be slow and looks a little weird, and doesn't integrate all too well, use camino.

be sure to take full advantage of the extensions system that firefox has. basically, it lets you make firefox as complicated or as simple as you like. and it lets you add loads more features IE7 might never support.
