If you are one of those people who indicate at normal junctions but never indicate at roundabouts, even when doing 360 degrees, can you please explain WHY !?
Without trying to sound Mr Perfect I sometimes I think I am the only one following the Highwy Code here. Anyone else feel the same ?

it is about time the government to bring in a driving retest every five years it might make the roads safer for other drivers
ps please remember that lorries require more room on at roundabouts to complete thier manouver and may take two lanes of the road
Ladypgold,
So you are one of the drivers who does not indicate at Roundabouts!
When you go straight on at roundabouts you should not indicate when your approaching but after passing the first exit on your left you should indicate left to turn off the roundabout.
Perhaps it would be helpfull to other drivers , especialy when they are waiting to enter the roundabout from the road you are turning into.
Also if you are going straight on at a roundabout that only has two other exits than the one you are approaching on, one to the right and one straight on you should indicate left as you approach as you will be taking the first exit!
Its dangerous and causes many accidents. If someone is not signalling to turn right at a roundabout it is easy to assume that they are turning off. Crash.
I find myself stopping completely to see what those who are not indicating are actually doing - this greatly reduces the fluidity of traffic on the roundabout and is very frustrating as the laziness/stupidity/ignorance of others is causing delays and excess braking for the drivers that have a modecum of sense.
A friend of mine took his test in Minehead as they have the least roundabouts during the test! He still drives very well compared to many I have seen on the road.
The key is driving instructors who CARE about the standards of thier students - not just teaching them enough such that they are able to scrape through the test. Bring on more frequent/more difficult driving tests - I would be more than happy to retake if it meant we could lose some of the unsafe, clueless, cant-see-past-the-front-of-thier-own-bonnet drivers that are on the road today.
Three stars to all of you for such brilliant answers. Nice to know I'm not alone out there !
But wouldn't it be nice to hear from someone who doesn't signal at roundabouts? They must make a conscious decision not to - or do they ?
Still, perhaps this little discussion will make one or two drivers think.
