my boys laugh at me,they want chilli, scotch bonnet etc,and it nearly kills me.
fresh pineapple does this to me and raw onion in salads gives me terrible tummy cramps within minutes but cooked onion I am fine with.
I have exactly the same - started a couple of years ago. I was in a restaurant and had my tongue in a glass of water to stop the pain of what was to me a very very spicy dish but wasn't according to my husband. I looked a right nutter. As for salt n vinegar crisps = omg they are a total no no!
