Cant Install Win7 From Boot Up Says Code 5.. What To Do

I have tower on win xp and want to upgrade it to win 7, I have upgraded ram etc but when I put win7 disc in and boot from dvd drive it wont it just says cant code5 and then just continues to load back to xp...any ideas what I can do to get it to start the boot process so can install win 7..i know the disc is ok and the dvd drive is ok.so any ideas what I cantry..

This seems to be a common problem on some older computers.

Search for "Windows 7 code 5" and you find lots of hits.
