Following On From Mics Move......

I decided to leave home early as I don't know the area very well. I was very nervous as the last time I was there was over 20 years ago. When I got to the hospital every thing was different to how I remembered it. Turns out most of it has been knocked down and new buildings built. I couldn't find the car park (very badly sign posted from the direction I was coming from) Eventually parked and set off for the main entrance. Walked in and workmen were taking down all the signs and putting up new ones. I could go on and on. I eventually found out where Mic was. By this time I was a nervous wreck. So got a coffee and a fag to calm myself down before I saw him.

When he realised he was in a better place he was very cheery and ate all the goodies I had taken for him. I didn't tell him of my ordeal but I felt I needed a bed after it. I'm home now and about to pour a B&C, I think I'll make it a large one.

Lol Jeza, it's nice to know he's feeling more cheerful. You could make a bit of a joke out of your ordeal to tell him about it, something to interest him about your day, and the little battles you have to face on your own.

The hospital is smaller than where he was, but it's still quite big.
It seemed to me that you get a more personal service. May be it is because we were new. Anyway when I eventually found him every one was very nice.

The journey will be easier next time, I hate driving in unfamiliar territory it's very stressful. Glad Mic is more cheery, don't have one B&C have two. x
