You may remember my recent post about me wanting a freezer and getting nowhere quick with Amazon customer service, well we ordered one online from Currys just before 8pm Tuesday evening (didn't know the order line closed at 8pm but the very pleasant and helpful chap was willing to stay on to order it for me)

It was delivered this morning, had a phone call at 7.40am to say they were on the way and would be 40 mins, arrived 8.15 and installed it in the shed. They were in the house less than 5 minutes, took all packaging away, well impressed, what quality service! Well done Currys! Thanks to all ABers who recommended them to me.

I would have made a complaint to customer services , with respect to them being 15 mins late
...if they hadn't been 5 minutes early...
lol - that's what comes with speed reading posts and doing other things at the same time
Good stuff !

Ann....if outside in the shed, are you sure it will work properly at low ambient temperatures. Older freezers worked fine in very low temperatures, but modern ones (because of different refrigerants used) don't like low temps and stop working.
If you look at the specification in the manual, it may say something like.."to be used in ambient temperatures above 12C" or similar.
Cool!
I had service exactly like yours with a hob I'd ordered. Had first tried a local (Curries) store which didn't want to know and told us to order online. Funny way to do business, but they've got the whole internet system down to a fine art.
Sorry - Currys - was thinking of my take-away!
