My son has just arrived at
Lan kawi (spelling?) But his luggage wasnt on the flight when he arrived at the airport. They flew to kwala lumper (spelling again?) And caught a further flight to the island being told the luggage would automatically be on the plane but it appears it wasnt. Apparently there is no rep over there and he cant reach anyone by phone. I shall ring the help line when they open at 9 and also the travel agent where they booked but we are all feeling very helpless can anyone give any advice? Hasthis happened to you? What do we do? Thank you.

British airways lost my luggage several times ...I changed at Birmingham to go to Frankfurt .my luggage went to Paris....they delivered luggage to my hotel and to my home within 48 hours....they allowed me to buy necessary items ie toiletries and change of clothes if not delivered within 24 hours and reimbursed me...I had to fill in a card at luggage pick up point when it didn't show though..all you can do is phone airline with flight details , description of luggage and your son's location and phone number...Good luck
You could try contacting the airport or the airline while you wait for the travel agents to open. Might be worth a try.

Phone the agent & airline he booked with; they have details of Kuala Lumpur & connecting flights. On arrival at KL airport, passengers usually collect all their baggage to trail onto Penang/Langkawi flight.

nb He only needs his bathers & passport in Langkawi - lucky b€$$ar ;)
