My guess is that Joe Root will be yo-yoed back up the order ... but who will they play at 6?

I think Root's likely - mind, I s'pose we can mither away, but simply some better cricket might help
I think Sir Geoffrey is on a permanent loop of 'not enough proper crickit befour the first test' ... and (irritatingly) he may be right.

As much as I like Bairstow I'm not convinced he's learnt to deal effectively with the short stuff yet and with Johnson's tail up they're all going to have their mettle tested next week.
That said, with Prior's form young Johnny may well get the gloves.
