Why is money being wasted on this trial and that poor mans family having to sit thru it all.... The 2 murderers have pleaded not guilty, but there is more than enough video and camera evidence showing them committing the murder and admitting to it! And who the hell is defending them in court!?
So people are saying I have no respect or consideration for the British way of doing things? Duh, that's my point .... neither do they! Why give them that courtesy, because as sure as eggs is eggs, they wouldn't for you!
our legal system allows for a fair trial, much as I loathe to say it, this includes these children of parents unwed. I hope the jury comes to the right decision and they spend the rest of their lives looking over their shoulders in a nice cell with a bucket in the corner.
I think yours may be an emotional response, rather than a practical one - which in light of the crime committed, together with one of the accused actually 'justifying' his actions to camera, whilst the blood of the poor young man was still on his hands - is quite understandable.
However, if our response is to skip the process of applying controlled jurisprudence, then we throw away one of the central tenets of British law.
I must say I am in the hang 'em camp but they've also probably been on cannabis, the stuff that that other scumbag Clegg and his cronies want to leegalise.
Do Cameron, Clegg and cronies wish to legalise cannabis, grumpy ? Must have missed that. It wasn't in their manifestos was it ? Nobody reads those..Have you a link?
Don't know about Cameron's stance on it but Nick Clegg has recently appointed Norman Baker to carry out a study on drug use in 10 other countries because he(Clegg) thought the views of some of his coalition partners was not the same as his own. Finally Norman Baker is the man who said, when Tony Blair wanted to downgrade cannabis in 2001,that it was"No more dangerous than alcohol or tobacco".
