Watching a TV item about the Barmy Army it mentioned that beer in Australia is £8 a pint. Would you pay that for a Fosters?

I wouldn't be amazed if there was some sort of mark-up at the MCG for anyone with a pommie accent; but nobody in Wagga Wagga is going to pay more just because there's a cricket team in the country.
