A little confusing this one, was it just the Mandela jokes, seeing that was what he was arrested for?

Even if one is disgusted by 'bad taste' jokes, do you think that the police went a little over the top on this one?

We see this again and again in the Mail don't we?

A nice big headline and then the real meat is buried down the article where they hope their readers are too lazy to find it and work it out

If you must read the Mail - read the whole article and think about it a bit - stop letting them lead you around by the nose

No it was a different image the first one although similar must have been copyright.

Incidentally I never mentioned a "worthy body" you did, that is why it made your remarks sound sarcastic.

There you are AOG. Heaven knows why the first one pictured has bows on; my guess is that it had been bathed recently, it was to be shown in the ring and the bows were part of its grooming, but odd even so. My avatar is of a white one. I owned a black one called Fred.

O I thought it was ancient Greek - pule

He's got apoint - is it lawful to knock on someones door with a warrant about dirty Nelson jokes when the intention is to search the computer for something else ?

people will say: o the police will say anything - black is white just look at plebgate !
and I think officials are gonna have to start saying - yeah I see what you mean the evidence is on your side.

Peter , there's a whole line of cases about police going to a house for one reason and then finding evidence , stolen goods, say, which was nothing to do with their original purpose, with warrant or not. "Evidence unfairly obtained" is the line. It doesn't seem cricket to charge someone when you just made a social call, but cricket itself has changed and the judges generally have taken the view that such evidence is usable and admissible.
