My son in law is a professional kitchen fitter. He has 2 deWalt rechargeable drills/screw drivers on the go all the time, to my knowledge he's had them for at least 8 years and used almost every day. Can't say better than that kloofnek
I'd go for a deWalt or a Hilti if I had the money and wanted an all day every day drill, something cheaper would be fine for the occasional DIYer, imo.
I bought a Makita a few years ago in a sale, reduced from £250 down to £99.99, OK it's got the older type of battery, but is still adequate for a DIY job.
The deWalt sounds a good one,if I was a pro would go for the best but I want it just for DIY in the home...occasional jobs..however,am willing to pay around £100 even a bit more,as cheap isn`t always cheap.
I've got a de Walt....well 3 actually. a cordless driver which can do light drilling, a true drill/driver, also cordless and a corded drill that will go through a house. they are all very good BUT heavy.
